Father of Missing Girl Heimanot Kesao Urges Authorities to Exhaust All Efforts to Find Her

The father of nine-year-old Heimanot Kesao, who has been missing since February 2024, appealed to Israeli authorities to intensify the search and bring her back to her family. Kesao disappeared 884 days ago, and her family has yet to receive clear answers about her whereabouts. Responding to a letter from opposition leader Yair Lapid to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which Lapid called for a renewed and comprehensive investigation, Kesao's father expressed heartfelt gratitude for the government's increased attention and resources dedicated to the case. He emphasized that his daughter’s safety transcends political divisions, stating, "She is not interested in political affiliation, coalition, or opposition." He pleaded for unity and urged that all efforts be focused solely on saving and returning his daughter, hoping for a brighter future.

In his letter, Lapid demanded that all state agencies act decisively and allocate full resources to explore every possible investigative lead. He called for immediate government orders to centralize and mobilize resources to reassess the case and keep both the family and public informed about ongoing measures. Earlier, Prime Minister Netanyahu met with Kesao’s family, assuring them, "We will bring her back." The case has drawn significant public attention as it approaches 800 days since her disappearance, with the family continuing to seek answers and justice.
