Jalen Brunson's Surprise 2023 Jewish Wedding Comes to Light

New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson is drawing attention in the United States not only for leading his team within one win of an NBA title, but also for details of his marriage. The Knicks currently lead the San Antonio Spurs 3-1 in the final series, and Brunson has been the clear driving force behind the run.

Reports in the U.S. recently focused on Brunson and his wife, Allison Marks Brunson, his Jewish high school sweetheart. The couple married in the summer of 2023 in a Jewish kosher wedding that included a floral chuppah and a ketubah, the traditional marriage document.

The wedding celebration also reportedly featured a hora dance with their guests at the reception. In a wedding video, Brunson spoke about his wife and their long relationship, saying, “She sacrificed a lot, without really knowing what she could gain from it. She wanted the best for me and sometimes I felt like she was thinking about me more than herself. She pushed me to be a better person and a better player.”
