Yedid Chen Gdasi Joins Eden Ben Zaken on The Voice After Last-Minute Switch
Yedid Chen Gdasi, son of Yair Gdasi and nephew of Avner Gdasi, fulfilled his dream by auditioning for the Israeli music competition show The Voice. Coming from a renowned musical family, Yedid expressed his passion for music and desire to connect with people through his art. During his audition, he performed the song "Still Here," written by Ehud Manor and composed by Boaz Sharabi, which impressed judges Idan Raichel and Eden Ben Zaken, both of whom turned their chairs for him.
Initially, Yedid expressed his wish to join Idan Raichel's team, stating, "I grew up listening to your album, and I would be very happy to work with you." However, after encouragement from Eden Ben Zaken and the audience, he changed his mind and chose to join her team instead. This decision marked a significant step for Yedid as he aims to establish himself as the new generation of the Gdasi musical legacy.
