Katz and Levin Appointed to Lead Israeli Cabinet and Government During Netanyahu's US Visit

Following Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's departure to the United States, the Israeli government approved the temporary delegation of his duties while he is abroad. On Monday evening, the government designated Defense Minister Israel Katz as acting Prime Minister specifically to convene the Security Cabinet.
