Air Haifa Expands Beyond Flights with New Global Hotel Booking Platform

Air Haifa has launched a new service called airHaifa Stays, expanding its offerings beyond flight ticket sales to include hotel bookings worldwide. The platform, operated in partnership with Arbitrip, provides access to approximately 1.5 million accommodations globally. Customers who book hotels through the platform and meet promotional conditions will receive a 4% credit of their booking amount, redeemable for future Air Haifa flight purchases. This credit applies to bookings with check-out dates up to October 10, 2026, and remains valid for two years from issuance.

A sample price comparison showed competitive rates on the platform. For example, a three-night stay at Athens Capital Center Hotel in September was offered at $1,795 for two people, compared to $2,024 on Booking.com. Similar competitive pricing was observed for hotels in Cyprus. However, Air Haifa advises customers to compare prices and conditions before booking, as hotel rates fluctuate frequently.

This move follows a similar initiative by El Al, which recently launched EL AL Travel, a hotel booking platform allowing frequent flyer members to earn and redeem points on accommodations. El Al plans to expand its platform to include attractions and activities.

Air Haifa's new hotel booking service coincides with its growing flight operations. In June, the airline transported about 45,000 passengers, marking a monthly record. Last month, Air Haifa added three new Greek destinations: Mykonos, Heraklion in Crete, and Karpathos. The airline also announced plans to operate regular winter flights between Ben Gurion Airport and Ramon Airport, with up to ten flights daily.
