Maccabi Tel Aviv Decides to Retain Helio Varela Amid Transfer Interest

Maccabi Tel Aviv has firmly decided to keep Helio Varela, one of their standout players, despite interest from other clubs. Teams such as Samsunspor and Qarabag have attempted to sign the Cape Verdean winger, but Maccabi is not willing to sell him. The club values Varela at between 5 and 6 million euros and aims to retain him under his current contract, which runs until summer 2028.
