Iran’s Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei Sets Israel’s Withdrawal From Lebanon as Condition for US Talks

He extended respect and blessings to Hezbollah’s Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem, commanders, and fighters, acknowledging their sacrifices and resilience.

The statement reflects Iran’s perception of American frustration and its intent to leverage this to impose significant costs related to the conflict. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has firmly rejected any US demands for Israel to withdraw from Lebanon beyond previously agreed political arrangements.
