Andre Tabakoff Appointed Capital Market Editor at Calcalist

Andre Tabakoff has been appointed as the new capital market editor at Calcalist, announced by Calcalist editor Ariel Shmidberg. Tabakoff brings over two decades of experience in economic journalism, having held senior editorial roles at major Israeli outlets. He began his career at Haaretz's news desk, later becoming head of the economics desk there. He then moved to Globes, serving as reporters coordinator, deputy news editor, opinion section editor, and editor of the daily magazine Globes Evening. Since 2021, Tabakoff has been head of the news desk at Calcalist.

Ariel Shmidberg praised Tabakoff's rich journalistic experience, deep professional knowledge, and excellent familiarity with the Calcalist team, expressing confidence that he will add significant value for readers and online users. Shmidberg also thanked Yarden Rozhensky, who is stepping down from the role, for years of successful journalistic work at Calcalist.

In recent weeks, Shmidberg announced other key editorial appointments: Roy Bergman as deputy editor, Ram Liran as deputy editor and head of the supplements division, Neta-Lee Binshtok as head of the news department, and Maayan Cohen Rozen as deputy head of the news department. Tabakoff is expected to assume his new position in the coming days.
