Calcalist Appoints Roy Bergman as Deputy Editor and Neta-Li Binshtok as News Editor
Calcalist editor Ariel Shmidberg announced two senior appointments within the newsroom. Roy Bergman, who has served as Calcalist's news editor for the past 4.5 years, will be promoted to deputy editor. Neta-Li Binshtok, previously deputy news editor, will take over as the new head of the news department.
Bergman has been with Calcalist for over 15 years, holding various roles including deputy market editor and digital editor. Before joining Calcalist, he worked at Yedioth Ahronoth group as an editor and writer, most recently editing the newspaper's economy supplement and Ynet's economic channel. Binshtok joined Calcalist in 2013 from Yedioth Communications and has held multiple editorial positions, including leisure section editor and deputy news editor for the last three years.
In her new role, Binshtok will lead the news department and oversee current content management across Calcalist's print and digital platforms. Editor Ariel Shmidberg praised both journalists as experienced and talented economic reporters, expressing confidence in their ability to lead Calcalist to new heights and wishing them success.
