With the new school year starting in about a month, many Israeli parents are preparing to buy school supplies, including the essential school shirts that children wear daily. A price comparison among popular fashion chains reveals significant differences, with some retailers offering shirts at nearly half the price of others. The cheapest option found was at H&O, selling five shirts for 50 shekels, or 10 shekels per shirt. Bgood followed with eight shirts for 100 shekels (12.5 shekels each), Golf offered seven shirts for 99.90 shekels (approximately 14.3 shekels each), and Castro, Delta, and FOX each had deals of six shirts for 100 shekels (about 16.7 shekels per shirt). This represents a price gap of roughly 67% between the cheapest and most expensive options.

For families with three children needing around 18 shirts, this price difference could amount to savings of tens or even over a hundred shekels. Parents are also advised to consider fabric quality, size variety, sleeve types, and the cost of printing the school emblem, which may not be included in promotional prices. Some deals are limited to loyalty club members or specific quantities, so checking terms before purchasing is recommended.

As September 1 approaches, retailers are expected to expand their promotions to attract buyers, making price comparisons crucial for families facing rising expenses during this period.
