Father of Missing Israeli Child Haimnot Kasao Expresses Solidarity Amid Ongoing Searches

Tsafaya Kasao, father of missing child Haimnot Kasao, spoke out on Friday regarding the disappearance of another child, Yuval Kogan, expressing deep empathy with Kogan's family. Kasao's family has been searching for Haimnot for 880 days, enduring the pain and uncertainty that come with a child's disappearance. "The Kasao family feels the pain of the Kogan family," he said, emphasizing their ongoing prayers and efforts not only to bring Haimnot home but also to prevent other families from experiencing similar tragedies.

Kasao revealed that in recent weeks, his family has learned of several failed kidnapping attempts, which, along with Yuval's disappearance, have heightened their fear and concern. He urged the Israel Police to utilize all available resources to locate both children safely and to prevent future abductions. Referencing the police chief's statement that "a child does not simply disappear in Israel," Kasao stressed the importance of a clear police message against child abductions.

In addition to appealing to law enforcement, Kasao called on the Israeli public to support the Kogan family during this difficult time. He expressed hope that both children would soon be reunited with their families, saying, "I call on the people of Israel to assist the Kogan family. I hope we will see our children home, now."
