Israel Coach Ran Ben Shimon Seeks Early Release of US-Based Players Ahead of Austria Match

Israel national football team coach Ran Ben Shimon is currently in the United States holding meetings with Israeli players competing in American clubs. His goal is to persuade their teams to release them before Yom Kippur, allowing the players to prepare together with the rest of the squad for their opening match against Austria. The team plans to be in Austria during Yom Kippur to train for the game scheduled in Linz.

Ben Shimon has already met with players Liel Abada and Idan Tokelomati, visited their club, and then proceeded to meet with Dor Turgeman and Ilay Feingold. He will conclude his meetings with Tai Baribo in Washington.
