Maccabi Tel Aviv Candidate Reaches Agreement with Dia Saba’s Club
He will not come to Israel. After being on Maccabi Tel Aviv’s lists, the Albanian coach is heading to another destination.
Maccabi Tel Aviv is already working toward next season, and this morning, Wednesday, it announced the appointment of Steven van Herck as the club’s sporting director after the departure of Ben Mansford. As is known, the Yellows are expected to part ways with interim coach Kenny Miller and replace him with another professional.
One of the candidates for the job was Besnik Hasi, the Albanian, who is considered close to the Belgian. In fact, Hasi and Steven van Herck worked together for a long time and logged 18 matches together at Legia Warsaw, until they parted ways, 11 matches at Olympiacos, until they parted ways, and no fewer than 97 matches on the bench of Al Raed from Saudi Arabia, between August 2018 and March 2021.
Now, Turkish media are reporting that Besnik Hasi has reached an agreement with none other than the club of Dia Saba and Alexander Sirota, Amedspor, which was promoted this season to the Turkish top flight.
