Motorcyclist Injured in Nighttime Crash in Ashdod
A 42-year-old motorcyclist was moderately injured overnight Thursday after sliding off his bike on Bnei Brit Boulevard in Ashdod. The crash was reported to Magen David Adom’s 101 emergency center in the Lachish region, and the cause of the skid was not immediately clear.
MDA medics and paramedics reached the scene, gave the rider initial treatment, and evacuated him to Assuta Hospital in Ashdod. He sustained injuries to all parts of his body.
Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the accident. Security and rescue officials also urged the public to drive carefully, especially during the late-night hours.
