Manor Solomon started for Tottenham Hotspur in their first preseason match ahead of the 2026/27 season on Wednesday, playing 45 minutes in a 1-0 victory over MK Dons. Despite widespread expectations that Solomon will leave the club, the Israeli winger showed promising form and came close to scoring, only to be denied by MK Dons goalkeeper Craig MacGillivray. The match's sole goal was scored early by new signing Matheus Fernandes, who joined from West Ham for around £85 million, volleying in after just three minutes.
