Air-raid alerts sound in Metula over suspected aerial intrusion and rocket fire

Air-raid sirens warning of a hostile aircraft intrusion and of missile and rocket fire were activated in Metula, in the Upper Galilee finger area. The alerts indicated a possible security incident affecting the northern border town.

The Israel Defense Forces said only that the details were under investigation. No further information was released at this stage about the source of the threat, whether anything was intercepted, or whether there were any injuries or damage.
