New Culinary Spots Open Across Israel From Tel Aviv to the North and South
Several new dining venues have recently opened across Israel, offering a variety of culinary experiences from multi-functional spaces to specialized eateries. In Tel Aviv's Levinsky Market, a new multi-purpose culinary space called LEV opened, featuring a delicatessen on Fridays with products from small producers and a diverse menu including salmon sashimi and Basque cheesecake. The venue also hosts events and cooking workshops. Nearby, Rapidos, a Mexican-Texan style eatery, launched its first Tel Aviv branch inside the Menora Mivtachim Arena, operating during event schedules.
In the north, Haifa welcomed "Chez Sabach," a kosher grill specializing in charcoal-grilled meats and unique dishes like original chicken kebabs and meat-stuffed cigars. At the Kinneret’s Tzemach Beach, a new bistro offers a menu ranging from traditional dishes like kubaneh and hummus with roasted eggplant to more casual fare such as burgers and fish and chips.
Herzliya introduced Marawi Wine Bar, featuring hundreds of Israeli and international wines, including rare garage wines, alongside a food menu designed to complement the wine selection. The bar plans to host wine tastings and special events. In Petah Tikva’s market, "Sefetach Bar" opened, transforming the daytime shopping area into a nighttime culinary and cocktail destination with a focus on meat street food, including a signature pulled asado dish.
In Jaffa’s Old City, a new neighborhood café and bar offers a relaxed atmosphere with sea views, operating as a café by day and bar by night. Jerusalem saw the opening of a new bakery and light meals spot called Mula Aquarium near the city aquarium, serving pizzas, brunch, and pastries. Lastly, in the southern town of Gedera, a Japanese food bar opened inside the boutique Lir Hotel, offering small plates emphasizing fresh fish and izakaya-style dishes.
These new venues reflect a growing trend of diverse culinary offerings across Israel, catering to different tastes and occasions, from casual street food to elegant wine bars and multi-use culinary spaces.
