Eyal Berkovich Mistakenly Identifies Location of Cave of the Patriarchs on Live TV
During the "Moria and Berko" show aired on Channel 13, Eyal Berkovich was asked off-air about the location of the Cave of the Patriarchs. On air, Berkovich admitted he did not know the correct answer and hesitated between two cities. He said, "I was torn between Hebron and Nablus (Shechem)," and ultimately guessed Nablus. However, the Cave of the Patriarchs is actually located in Hebron. According to Jewish tradition, the cave is the burial site of the patriarchs and matriarchs Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebecca, and Jacob and Leah. The site is considered one of the most sacred and significant places in Jewish heritage.
