Jerusalem Man Arrested on Camera for Suspected Drug Dealing in East Jerusalem
Israeli police arrested a 31-year-old resident of the East Jerusalem neighborhood of al-Tur on suspicion of drug trafficking. The arrest was made by detectives from the Shalem police station, working with the Jerusalem Control and Observation Center, as part of an ongoing operation targeting drug offenses in the area. Over a two-week investigation, officers observed the suspect allegedly conducting multiple drug transactions with various customers. During his arrest, additional suspected drugs were found concealed on his person, believed to be held for distribution rather than personal use. The suspect was taken for questioning at the Shalem station and is scheduled to appear in the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court for a remand hearing. The investigation is ongoing, and the charges against him have not yet been proven.
