US Plans to Escalate Attacks on Iran While Keeping Israel Out of Current Conflict

The United States has informed Israel of its intention to intensify military strikes against Iran in the coming days, according to Israeli and American security sources cited by Kan News on Sunday evening. Despite the escalation, the US currently prefers to exclude Israel from this phase of the conflict. During strategic talks between the two countries, concerns were raised that Iran might retaliate by targeting Israel, which would prompt an Israeli response against Iran. However, the US aims to avoid Israeli involvement amid the heightened tensions in the Gulf region.

Following reports of additional US combat squadrons arriving in the Middle East and Israel, the US has recently transferred equipment and munitions to American fighter jets stationed in Israel as part of forward preparations. In the past 24 hours, ten more refueling aircraft arrived in Israel from Europe and Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, supporting US readiness against potential Iranian attacks on American assets in the Gulf.

Senior Israeli officials revealed that Turkey has threatened to provide air support to Iran if Kurdish forces invade Turkey during a Mossad-led ground operation. This aligns with former US President Donald Trump's earlier claims that Turkey was close to entering the conflict against Iran. The Mossad's plan to overthrow the Iranian regime includes providing Kurdish militias with air cover from the Israeli Air Force during armed phases.

Additionally, Kuwait has emerged as a primary target for Iranian attacks amid escalating tensions. Trump is reportedly considering further escalation against Iran, raising concerns that Israel could be drawn into the broader conflict.
