Israel Prepares for Possible Iranian Ballistic Missile Attack Amid Rising Tensions

Israeli security officials increasingly assess that senior Iranian regime figures may order ballistic missile strikes targeting Israel's home front. This concern arises amid close monitoring by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) of activities across Iran. Israeli authorities emphasize that any Iranian attempt to send a message will not influence Israel's decision-making process. Officials stated, "The Iranians would like Israel to interpret this as a signal, but the current security reality is very different from 2023. Israeli policy today is much stricter and considers extreme scenarios, including broad attacks on Iranian infrastructure."

Earlier on Sunday, Iran launched four missiles toward the port city of Aqaba. In response, the IDF activated two Iron Dome interceptors to prevent missile debris from hitting Israeli territory. The military continues to closely monitor developments and prepare for all possible scenarios amid ongoing security tensions and fears of further escalation.
