Former Mossad Official Predicts Iran Will Persist Despite Military Pressure

Sgib Assulin, a former senior Mossad official and security analyst for Channel 14, stated in a recent interview that Iran is unlikely to change its course despite ongoing military pressure. He emphasized that the Iranian regime remains consistent in its approach and that even the United States is beginning to realize that negotiations are not an effective strategy against Tehran's Islamic regime.

Assulin highlighted that former U.S. President Donald Trump’s policy reflects a rapid learning curve similar to Israel’s long-standing stance: confronting a regime that calls for destruction requires a firm, non-negotiation approach. Regarding potential Israeli military targets if conflict resumes, Assulin suggested focusing primarily on infrastructure and regime symbols, leaving other targets to the Americans.

He also noted that the confrontation with Iran is far from over, estimating that the conflict has not yet reached its midpoint.
