Fleishman Says Attorney General Bears Responsibility for Protest Hit-and-Run
From Channel 14 broadcasts, Fleishman on the hit-and-run at the protest: “The blood is on the attorney general’s hands”
Itamar Fleishman claimed that the attorney general, Gali Baharav-Miara, and the judges of the High Court of Justice are responsible for the harm to a Jewish man at a Jerusalem Faction protest. According to him, they allowed anarchy by failing to enforce the law. The panelist emphasized that the judiciary’s approach leads to harm to innocent civilians.
Itamar Fleishman, a panelist on the program The Patriots, sharply addressed the hit-and-run incident that occurred during Jerusalem Faction protests earlier today, Thursday, and claimed that responsibility for the event lies directly with the attorney general, Gali Baharav-Miara. In his words, “Every drop of blood, including that of the Jew injured today, is on the attorney general’s hands, period.” Fleishman stressed that there is no question on the matter, and that this is clear responsibility of the judicial system.

Fleishman also expanded his criticism to the High Court justices, saying they “allowed this anarchy and approved it, because that is exactly what they wanted.” He added that, in his view, the Israeli judicial system allows the public to hold protests without sufficient enforcement, which leads to dangerous situations and harm to innocent civilians. In his view, the harsh images from the protests are precisely the desired outcome from their perspective.
The panelist stressed that there is no problem enforcing the law, but in his view, the judicial system is preventing it. He claimed that if innocent people continue to be injured and killed on the roads, it is because of the attorney general’s permissive approach in running the matter. Fleishman concluded by saying, “It’s all about the judicial system,” and added that it is impossible to deny that the judicial system itself said that only it handles this.
