Bomb Thrown in Luxury Tel Aviv Neighborhood Amid Crime War, Police Seek to Release Crime Boss Yossi Musli
A grenade exploded overnight between Saturday and Sunday in the upscale Tzahala neighborhood of northern Tel Aviv, continuing the ongoing gang conflicts in the city. Police indicated the incident is linked to criminal activity and are investigating whether a local resident has ties to the Jarushi crime family. Meanwhile, authorities plan to request that Yossi Musli, the head of a rival crime organization who was arrested along with three others in connection with a recent wave of grenade attacks, be released to house arrest. The police will also seek house arrest for the other suspects.
In recent days, there have been multiple grenade throws and shootings, primarily targeting branches of the "Jafnika" chain across Israel. In response, the police have intensified both overt and covert operations near these locations, including nighttime patrols and undercover deployments, aiming to identify suspects and prevent further violence.
