Besiktas Negotiates to Sign Mohamed Salah After Liverpool Exit

Mohamed Salah is reportedly in advanced talks with Turkish club Besiktas to join them following his departure from Liverpool. According to the Turkish website Kartal Record, Besiktas has already presented Salah with a formal one-year contract offer, including an option for a second year. The proposed salary could reach up to 12 million euros per season, potentially making Salah one of the highest-paid players in Turkish football. However, some issues remain unresolved, particularly concerning the Egyptian star's image rights. Discussions are ongoing about a separate agreement on revenue sharing from the sale of Salah's jerseys if the deal proceeds.

Turkish journalist Serkan Dikme confirmed the negotiations, noting that Salah views Besiktas's interest positively and is seriously considering the move. Another journalist, Dogan Gundogan, reported that both parties are close to finalizing contract terms and salary, increasing the likelihood of a summer transfer. Recent reports across Europe have indicated that Salah prefers the Turkish option over a move to Saudi Arabia, despite the latter offering significantly higher wages.
