Maccabi Haifa Midfielder Manuel Show Nears Return to Turkish Club Kocaelispor

Manuel Show, the 27-year-old Angolan midfielder, is close to leaving Maccabi Haifa to rejoin Turkish club Kocaelispor. Show, who was not included in Maccabi Haifa's plans for the upcoming season, has agreed on terms with Kocaelispor, with only minor details left to finalize before the transfer is completed. The deal is reported to be worth close to one million dollars.

Show previously played for Kocaelispor on loan last season, making 30 league appearances and playing 2,321 minutes. Although he did not score or assist, he earned praise for his physicality, pressing, and midfield balance. Initially, Show sought offers from European clubs but, after not receiving the expected proposals, resumed negotiations with Kocaelispor.

The transfer has not yet been officially completed due to the Turkish league's foreign player limit, requiring Kocaelispor to release one foreign player before registering Show. Payment terms between the clubs are also still being finalized. Sources in Haifa confirm that nearly all aspects of the deal have been agreed upon, with only minor issues remaining. Show's departure marks a significant roster change for Maccabi Haifa ahead of the new season.
