Maccabi Haifa fans held an unofficial season opening event on Friday morning at the team's training complex, despite the club not yet conducting its official opening training session. Dozens of supporters gathered to cheer the players, ignite flares, and set off fireworks, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere ahead of the new season. This was the first opportunity for many fans to see the team up close since preseason preparations began. Both veteran players and new signings, including Bruninho and Yair Mordechai, received a warm welcome from the crowd.

During the celebration, one of the flares ignited a fire near the training facility, prompting the arrival of a fire truck to extinguish the blaze. Although the team has been training for some time, this fan event marked the first direct support from the green supporters this season.

Meanwhile, Maccabi Haifa continues to work on finalizing its squad. The club aims to resolve the goalkeeper position in the coming week, with ongoing negotiations involving Metalist Kharkiv over the potential signing of Giorgi Yermakov still facing some hurdles.
