After the prayer rally at the Western Wall was scaled back due to Home Front Command directives, testimony about a dream recounted by one of Rabbi Dov Kook's senior תלמידים led to the decision to hold another prayer rally already today at Rachel's Tomb. The event will be headed by the kabbalist Rabbi Yehuda Ades, and the public is called to join in prayer for the rabbi's recovery.
A prayer rally will be held today, Wednesday, at Rachel's Tomb for the recovery of the Tiberias-based kabbalist, Rabbi Dov Kook shlit"a. The event will be led by Rabbi Yehuda Ades shlit"a, and will include selichot, Psalms, and special prayers. The general public is called to attend in person or connect to live broadcasts that will be aired live.

The decision to hold the rally was made following testimony that reached Rabbi Kook's close associates. One of his students, Rabbi A.L. shlit"a, said that במהלך the night the rabbi appeared to him in a dream, thanked him for the prayer rally held at the Western Wall, and asked that another prayer gathering be held at the site of Mother Rachel's tomb as well.
This follows a major prayer rally held this week in the Western Wall plaza for the recovery of Rabbi Dov Kook. The rally had been planned as a large-scale gathering with tens of thousands expected, but due to Home Front Command directives and restrictions on gatherings, it was held in a reduced format only.
Despite the restrictions, leading Torah scholars and rabbis took part in the event, including Rabbi M. Tzadka, Rabbi Yehuda Ades, and Rabbi R. Albaz, who delivered words of encouragement and awakening and called on the public to increase prayers for the rabbi's recovery.
The rally organizers are calling on the public to continue increasing prayers for the complete and speedy recovery of Rabbi Dov ben Shoshana, together with the other sick of Israel.
A Song of Ascents. I lift my eyes to the mountains, from where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip, your protector will not slumber. Behold, the protector of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. The Lord is your protector, the Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun will not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will guard you from all evil, He will guard your soul. The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in, from now and forever.
