United Torah Judaism Abstains From Voting on Communications Law as Netanyahu Prepares to Vote

The United Torah Judaism faction has decided not to participate in the vote on the Communications Law proposed by Minister Shlomo Karhi. In contrast, the Shas faction will take part in the vote. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is also expected to vote on the law, marking a change from his previous absences during controversial legislation such as the law weakening the Attorney General's role and the law freezing arrests of draft-dodging ultra-Orthodox individuals.
