The story · English

A 46-year-old Israeli entrepreneur and CEO of the cybersecurity startup Oak has a proven track record of founding and selling successful tech companies. Born in Bnei Brak and raised in Ramat Gan, he served in the elite 8200 unit of the Israeli Defense Forces, where he completed degrees in mathematics, computer science, and business administration. After ten years in military intelligence and command roles, he transitioned to the tech industry.

His first startup, QuadX, launched in 2008 but closed due to the global financial crisis. He then led Integrity Project, which was acquired by Mellanox in 2014 for tens of millions of dollars. In 2015, he co-founded Secdo, a cybersecurity firm specializing in endpoint detection and response, which Palo Alto Networks acquired for approximately $100 million in 2018. In 2019, he co-founded Armatix, a cloud security company sold to Tenable for over $300 million. He remained at Tenable as head of cloud security and later as chief product officer until early 2025.

In early 2026, motivated by the AI revolution, he founded Oak, developing an AI-based operating system for identity management in organizations. Oak recently raised $60 million in seed funding led by Greylok Partners, Accel, and CRV. The company has grown rapidly to about 50 employees, aiming for 100 by year-end. He envisions Oak breaking Israel's record for startup exits, surpassing the sale of Wiz, and becoming his lasting legacy.

Alongside his entrepreneurial ventures, he has invested as an angel in around 20 startups and enjoys competitive bridge and poker. His personal journey includes leaving religious observance in his late twenties and returning to a traditional lifestyle. He also experienced the loss of his father to cancer at age 23, an event that deeply influenced his maturity and drive.
