The club has made a substantial financial offer to secure French-Congolese defender Dylan Batubinsika, aiming to make him the highest-paid player on the team. Although Dego did not coach Batubinsika during his time at Maccabi Haifa, they share several mutual acquaintances, including former Haifa players who have recommended Batubinsika to join Hapoel Ramat Gan. Several Israeli clubs have shown interest in the defender, who last season was relegated to the Greek second division with Larissa. Batubinsika is currently deliberating a return to Israel despite a successful stint at Maccabi Haifa.
