Hapoel Ramat Gan Negotiates with Former Maccabi Haifa Defender Dylan Batubinsika

Hapoel Ramat Gan is currently in talks with Dylan Batubinsika, a former Maccabi Haifa defender, regarding a potential signing for the 2026/27 season. Batubinsika, who is currently a free agent, has attracted interest from several other Israeli Premier League clubs. He was previously loaned to Maccabi Haifa during the 2022/23 season, where he won the championship, although he did not play under coach Massai Dago.

Ramat Gan has already signed Portuguese defender Jota and is considering Batubinsika to strengthen their central defense with a physical presence as they return to the Premier League. Batubinsika last played for Greek club Larissa and was part of the Democratic Republic of Congo's squad for the World Cup. After leaving Haifa, he played for Saint-Étienne before moving to Larissa in January, where he was released following the club's relegation.

Previously, Batubinsika received offers from Maccabi Netanya and Hapoel Petah Tikva, with Netanya reportedly offering him a salary of 250,000 euros per season, which would have made him the highest-paid player on their team. The negotiations with Ramat Gan mark a significant step in his career as he looks to continue playing in Israel's top division.
