Maccabi Netanya Offers Dylan Batubinsika Major Contract to Boost Defense
Maccabi Netanya is aiming to strengthen its defense for the upcoming season by making a substantial offer to Dylan Batubinsika, a former Maccabi Haifa defender. Batubinsika, who was part of the Democratic Republic of Congo's squad at the 2026 World Cup (though he did not play), has attracted interest after Hapoel Petah Tikva submitted an offer earlier this summer. Netanya's proposal is reportedly around 250,000 euros per season, which would make Batubinsika the highest-paid player on the team if he accepts.
Batubinsika played for Maccabi Haifa during the 2022/23 season on loan before moving to Saint-Étienne in the summer of 2023. In January, he transferred on a free to Greek club Larissa, where he became a regular starter. His contract with Larissa ended earlier this summer, making him a free agent eligible to sign with any club. Maccabi Netanya's offer reflects their intent to secure a key defensive player ahead of the new season.
