66-Year-Old Man Collapses on Bus in Beitar Illit, Hospitalized in Serious Condition
A 66-year-old man collapsed on a bus on Kedushat Levi Street in Beitar Illit on Thursday, July 16, 2026. United Hatzalah medics were called to the scene after bystanders reported the emergency. First responders Meni Winfeld, Yaakov Walach, and Shrulik Zitron began CPR and used a defibrillator to deliver prolonged electric shocks. Miraculously, the man's heart resumed beating, and he was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
The medical team from United Hatzalah's Judea and Samaria district provided initial treatment at the scene. The organization requested prayers for Moshe Aharon ben Miriam Yehudit for a full recovery, along with all other patients in Israel.
