Samsung Galaxy Phones Automate Settings with Modes and Routines Feature
Samsung Galaxy devices include a useful feature called Modes and Routines that automates daily phone settings. This tool is divided into "Modes," which adjust device settings based on location or situation, such as switching to silent mode at home or work, and "Routines," which trigger specific actions when certain conditions are met. For example, users can set the phone to ring loudly only for important contacts, increase screen brightness outdoors, or enable auto-rotate when opening YouTube.
Additional options include customized low battery alerts, overnight charging protection, and smart home lighting activation when dismissing the morning alarm. To use the feature, users navigate to the device settings, select Modes and Routines, and either choose a preset routine from the Discover tab or create a new one. This eliminates the need for manual adjustments, as the phone automatically manages settings based on user preferences and context.
