Iran Includes Israeli Journalists in Official List of 'Hostile Elements'
The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence has officially published a document listing "hostile elements," which includes Israeli journalists alongside Iranian opposition activists. The list appears in Iran's official newspaper as part of enforcing stricter penalties for espionage and collaboration with Israel. Among the Israeli journalists named are Amit Segal, Yossi Melman, and Raz Zimmt. The list also features Reza Pahlavi, the son of Iran's last Shah.
According to the document, Iranian authorities classify those on the list as "hostile elements," warning that sharing information, images, or videos with them could lead to prosecution and, in some cases, imprisonment under Iranian law. Amit Segal responded to the publication, stating, "Apparently, I did something right, Iranian intelligence included me among those whose contact could lead to many years in prison." He added humorously, "For Israelis here, you can still send me information. Iranians, please don't risk yourselves."
