Ultra-Orthodox Protesters Attack IDF Officer Leading Haredi Integration Efforts

During a graduation ceremony for platoon commanders of the Hachshmonaim Brigade held at the Tomb of Samuel the Prophet, extremist ultra-Orthodox protesters attacked Lieutenant Colonel (res.) Yossi Levi. Levi leads the IDF's efforts to integrate Haredi yeshiva students into military service. The protesters attempted to stop his vehicle and gathered around the ceremony site, shouting slogans such as "We will die and not enlist" directed at the course graduates.
