MK Tzvi Sukkot Exposes Illegal Waqf School Teaching Palestinian Authority Curriculum in Jerusalem

During a surprise visit to Jerusalem's Muslim Quarter, MK Tzvi Sukkot uncovered an illegal school operated by the Waqf that teaches Palestinian Authority curricula promoting contentious topics such as the "right of return" and "Palestinian identity." The school is located in the Old City, just minutes from the Western Wall, and openly displays a sign indicating it is owned by the Palestinian Authority. Upon discovering the sign, Sukkot removed it and declared his intention to demand the school's immediate closure, emphasizing that such institutions cannot operate within sovereign Israeli territory.

Sukkot, chairman of the Education Committee, stated that he will ensure the school is shut down before the upcoming school year and that inspectors will verify its closure. He condemned the school for inciting children against Israel and warned that allowing such education fosters future generations of militants.
