Yeshiva Students Receive Blessing from Leading Rabbi in Jerusalem
The daily routine of Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch, a leading halachic authority known as the Posek HaDor, continues with dedication in his Jerusalem office located in the Har Nof neighborhood. His renowned chamber serves as a hub where hundreds of yeshiva students, rabbis, and halachic seekers come daily to receive his holy blessing and guidance for their Torah study and spiritual growth.
This week, a moving and rare moment occurred when a close-knit group of students from a well-known Hasidic yeshiva entered his study to greet him and receive his personal blessing. Upon seeing the rabbi deeply immersed in Torah study, the students stood with great emotion and recited together the special blessing traditionally said for great Torah sages: "Blessed are You, Lord... who imparts some of His wisdom to those who fear Him."
Following the blessing, the students spontaneously began singing a stirring Shabbat melody familiar throughout the Jewish world. Rabbi Sternbuch warmly blessed them in return, expressing his hope that they would ascend ever higher in Torah and Hasidic devotion and remain protected from all harm during the upcoming vacation days.
