Dubi Frances Denies Likud List Offer, Eyes Future Run for Prime Minister
Dubi Frances, founder and CEO of Group 11 Capital, denied reports that he was offered a reserved spot on the Likud party list. Speaking at the Negev Conference 2026 in Dimona, Frances called the rumors "fake news" and said he was unaware of any such offer. When asked if he would accept a reserved spot if offered, he responded by asking "for which position?"
Frances indicated that while he is currently focused on his significant impact in the business sector, particularly supporting Israeli startups that drive the economy forward, he is open to entering politics in the future. He emphasized his current commitment to investors and entrepreneurs but suggested that once he completes his mission in business, he might pursue a political career. Frances explicitly stated that if he runs for office, his ambition would be to become Prime Minister.
The Negev Conference 2026 is organized by the Ministry for the Development of the Negev, Galilee and the National Resilience, together with the Negev Development Authority. Frances’s comments highlight a potential shift from his influential role in the Israeli tech and investment scene to a direct political role, aiming for the country’s highest executive position.
