Police Investigate Shooting at Jafnika Branch Amid Crime Family Feud in Herzliya

Israeli police have launched an investigation into a suspected shooting incident targeting a Jafnika restaurant branch in Herzliya. The event occurred on Tuesday morning, with no injuries reported. However, police found apparent bullet marks on the restaurant's window upon arrival. Officers from the Glilot station and forensic investigators secured the scene and began collecting evidence while the circumstances remain under review.

This incident is part of a series of attacks on Jafnika branches in recent days, including arson at a Netanya location and a grenade thrown at a branch in Afula. Both prior attacks caused property damage but no casualties. The Netanya fire reportedly involved a stolen military weapon, while the Afula attack involved a grenade explosion.

Authorities link these violent acts to an ongoing feud between two major Israeli crime families, the Musli and the Jarushi clans. Some Jafnika branches in the Tel Aviv area are reportedly connected to the Jarushi organization. The conflict has escalated recently, with retaliatory attacks targeting Jafnika outlets, causing significant property damage.
