Maccabi Haifa Nears New Contract Deal with Midfielder Yarin Levi

Maccabi Haifa is preparing for the 2026/27 season and will face Ironi Kiryat Yam from the National League in a friendly match on Tuesday evening. Levi is close to finalizing a new contract with Maccabi Haifa, which will include the removal of his 2.5 million euro release clause until at least next summer, in exchange for a substantial salary increase. The club aims to retain Levi, who has been on loan to Beitar Jerusalem for the past two seasons, for at least one full season. There is also an understanding that a successful season could lead to a more attractive release offer than the current 2.5 million euros. Maccabi Haifa's coach, Barak Bachar, is counting on Levi's contributions in the upcoming season. Additionally, players Kenji Hura and Adam Greenberg, who is recovering from last season's injury, have returned to training, though it is uncertain if they will play in the upcoming friendly.
