Israeli Security Firm Loses License Over Illegal Activity and Fraudulent Reporting

The Licensing Committee for Private Investigators and Security Services in Israel has revoked the license of the security company "Or HaShemesh General Services Ltd." due to multiple serious violations. The decision followed an investigation based on confidential information and administrative evidence presented by law enforcement agencies, including the Civil Enforcement Unit of the State Attorney's Office and the Israel Police.

The committee found that the company operated illegally by employing undocumented workers, submitting false reports, concealing the identity of the actual manager, appointing a front person as head, transferring funds to criminal entities, and employing workers without a valid contractor license from the Ministry of Labor. Prior to the decision, the company, its owners, and its security organizer underwent a hearing process with legal counsel from the Ministry of Justice.

Given the severity of the findings, the committee not only revoked the company's license but also barred it and its license holder from applying for renewal for three years. The license cancellation will take effect on May 31, 2026. However, an appeal and a request for a temporary injunction against the decision have been filed and remain pending.
