ZAKA International Unit Completes Humanitarian Mission in Venezuela After Earthquake
After ten days of continuous humanitarian and rescue efforts, the international delegation of ZAKA concluded its mission in Venezuela, responding to the devastating earthquake that struck the country. The team, composed of dozens of volunteers including rescue workers, doctors, engineers, and logistics experts from around the world, provided extensive medical and logistical aid to thousands of affected families. They operated around the clock in close coordination with Venezuelan emergency authorities to reach all areas in need.
During their deployment, ZAKA volunteers conducted search and rescue operations, administered first aid, distributed essential supplies, and helped establish temporary housing solutions for those left homeless. The delegation also held official meetings with senior government officials and prominent rabbis to strengthen cooperation and provide both spiritual and material support to the victims.
Yosef Germon, commander of ZAKA South America and the mission leader, praised the dedication and professionalism of the volunteers, highlighting the significant impact of their work on thousands of people.
