Family Holds Brit Milah for Newborn at Memorial of Terror Victim Shuli Har Melach

A brit milah ceremony was held for the firstborn son of Sarah Yahav, daughter of Knesset member Limor Son Har Melach, at the memorial dedicated to her late grandfather Shuli Har Melach. Shuli Har Melach was murdered in a terror attack, and the ceremony symbolized a closing of the circle for the family. The event took place one week after the newborn's birth at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, the same hospital where Sarah's mother was born nearly 23 years ago. Sarah herself was born prematurely after her father was killed and her mother was seriously injured during pregnancy in the terror attack. This week, Sarah returned to the hospital as a mother to give birth to her first child, marking a poignant moment for the family.
