Israeli Influencer Shira Klein Regrets Appearing With Controversial Streamer Clavicular

Shira Klein, an Israeli influencer, expressed regret after appearing in a live stream with Braden Eric Peters, known as Clavicular, a controversial international streamer accused of antisemitism. Klein said she was unaware of his views before joining the broadcast, which was arranged by other Israeli influencers aiming to present "the real Israel" to a global audience. She described feeling uncomfortable during the stream, noting a female participant appeared distressed and held her hand throughout.

Klein recounted that she had only seen brief clips of Clavicular before and did not anticipate his extremist opinions. After posting a clip of him rating her on social media, she initially received positive reactions from friends. However, as reports about his antisemitic behavior surfaced, she began facing criticism for associating with him. Klein stated, "If I had known about his views, I would never have met or approached him. I am learning from my mistake."

Meanwhile, Clavicular announced plans to visit Russia next, a country also considered controversial internationally. The ongoing backlash against those linked to him continues to grow in Israel, following earlier criticism of Shira Brown, the manager of the IDF’s international TikTok account, who also spent time with the streamer.

The incident highlights the challenges Israeli influencers face when engaging with foreign content creators amid rising sensitivities about extremist views and international image campaigns.
