Israeli Broadcaster Yinon Magal Honors Senator Lindsey Graham with Religious Tribute
Popular Israeli broadcaster Yinon Magal paid tribute to senior U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham during his show 'The Patriots.' Magal explained that after consulting Rabbi Zalman Baruch Melamed, a leading halachic authority, he was instructed to study a passage from the Mishnah related to monetary laws as a merit for Graham's soul. He noted that Graham was considered to have the level of an observant Noahide, a non-Jew who follows the seven Noahide laws. Following the study, Magal recited the Kaddish d'Rabbanan, a special mourner's prayer, in memory of the senator. The segment was broadcast with accompanying footage of Magal reciting the prayer.
