Israeli Defender Hassan Hilo Nears Deal with Serbian Club Radnicki 1923
Hassan Hilo, a 26-year-old Israeli central defender, is close to signing with Radnicki 1923, a top-tier Serbian football club. Hilo, who grew up playing for Bnei Sakhnin and had a loan spell at Bnei Reineh, later moved to Japan's Iwate Grulla Morioka, where he made nine appearances before returning to Israel on loan to Sakhnin. With one year remaining on his contract, Hilo is expected to finalize his transfer to Radnicki 1923, which finished fourth in the Serbian league's lower playoff group last season. The club currently features Austrian player Astrit Sokler, who is reportedly linked with a move to Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Israeli Premier League.
