Maccabi Netanya continued their preparations for the 2026/27 season with a strong 5-0 victory over Polish side Cracovia Krakow, who finished sixth in their domestic league last season. The match took place during the team's training camp in Poland on Sunday, July 12, 2026. Among the standout performers was 16-year-old Yarin Abuhatzira, who scored two goals, impressing coach Roni Levy.

Other goal scorers included Bassem Za'aroura, Oz Bilu, and Mateos Dabo, contributing to a comprehensive win for the Yellow and Black squad. Ahead of the new season, Roni Levy is actively seeking to strengthen the squad, particularly looking for a central defender and two midfielders, including players capable of operating on the wings.
