Tel Aviv Court Upholds Harassment Restraining Order Against Mordechai David
The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court has upheld a restraining order against Mordechai David, issued at the request of Hadass Klein. The court ruled that the temporary order, originally granted last month, will remain in effect for six more months. Judge Tal Havkin also ordered David to pay Klein 4,000 shekels in legal costs.
The court considered Klein's request to require David to post a bond to ensure compliance with the order but decided against it, stating that the legal costs imposed were sufficient. However, the judge warned that if similar behavior occurs in the future, the court may impose higher fines or stricter sanctions. The ruling further noted that any willful violation of the restraining order could lead to police involvement.
Both parties have the right to appeal the decision to the Tel Aviv District Court within 60 days from the date of notification.
